ROM Hack The Force Unleashed button mapping

That would certainly be nice. Using the touchscreen all the time gets uncomfortable after a very short time.

From my understanding of the screenshots, it's not like Zelda at all. It's got giant buttons on the touchscreen; one for the force, one for saber striking, etc.. and these buttons serve as an alternative to using the ABXY and D-Pad buttons.

That's just how I interpret the screen shots anyway.

actually, the ABXY and D-Pad are used identically for movement, so both left and right handed players can play. Same with L and R...both for block/dash.
also noting that there are 5 on screen buttons, and only four for the ABXY.
so, I don't think that this would be possible.

Well have the main things on the D-pad and the rest on touch screen
Mains:
Jump
Attack
Force Push
Force Choke
---------------
Thunder and saber throw can stay on the touch screen

PS: as long as u can get Jump and attack on A and B, it will be better

You could remap the R button, then all would be fine.

yup, saber throw on R, and the rest (leaving only thunder) on the Touch
no. I think we all need the basic attack button on a button. unless your refering to the other posts as well other wise my post was useless. IDK.

This is what It should be:
a: Basic attack
b: jump
y: force choke
x: force push
r: force throw
l: guard

the thunder can stay on the screen.

That's it.. also you drag one button to the other with the stylus to make a combo, that would be the biggest problem with button mapping..

I would actually preffer a d-pad to touch screen hack, moving with the D-Pad is awful in this game since it has a 3D space..

Just stick with touch screen, seriously...will work so much easier. Combos would fail with the button mapping, and controls for left-handers like myself would be screwy beyond belief. This game actually was good with it's touch screen combat (beaten the game twice as of now, haha)
