Whats the purpose of having three different "Game" folders (Game, Game 1.50, Game X.XX)? Will homebrew run differently in different folders?

GAME150 is for old 1.50 phat homebrew only. I'm not 100% sure what the difference between GAMEXXX and GAME is for.
