It was the best one in my price range, the other laptops that I looked at either cost way too much, were worse laptops, or came with Windows 8.


Also I finally got my Wii U to update, but it's still having some issues. I am going to complain to Nintendo later about it.

They're aware of the system bugs and and are already working on ironing them out, plus they said that they're improving overall loading times, so no need to report it. The 3DS had similar problems initially.

Read a guy in Australia with the same problem. He said he complained to Ninty, too. Ninty responded that they were working on it but they didn't have a clue yet what was wrong. Glad to hear the updates are working again.

Good news everyone!
I have made my return! This time I now have a brand new laptop (HP Pavilion dv6) and a Wii U Deluxe set! Now I can expect to be active once again!
A few things I would like to address:
1. Yes I will continue hosting the KYT. In fact, I have a list for 2013 when I plan on starting it again.
2. I am going to open a thread for KYT sign ups!
3. Thank you Gahars for taking over the KYT for me
4. I finally started taking care of my real life problems, so I am nowhere near as depressed as I was last time you guys saw me, which is good

Other than all that, I have now returned and hopefully nothing fucks this up!!

Therefore, I bought Sony Vaio laptop in 600 dollars range.. You should have bought it instead of HP.. Its a crap, really. If you are happy with it then I am happy for you. Please handle this hp laptop with care.

Well, the first couple of updates of the U are big... and it also took me a while to set the internet up... tv and Wii U are in the only true dead spot in the house......

One classmate of mine got a HP laptop, it heats up quite fast and the fan can be loud, but otherwise it seems fine ish...
If you don't run heavy programs you should be fine
