Kalisiin says "Up with Piracy" that is done because there is LITERALLY NO OTHER WAY to obtain the desired game.
Like, I mean, LITERALLY no other way, which includes buying it legitimately.
Man, but I'll be damned if I am deprived of some game just because some executive decides he does not want to sell it in a specific country, or whatever.
Nor will I tolerate them stopping production of good old-school games to be replaced by crappy new-fangled games that suck...and then depriving me of the ability to ever get my hands on the good old-school stuff!!
Only way to obtain some of those games is via piracy!!
Piracy has it's place...if it is done for personal use only...and done only when there is no other way to obtain the wanted game.
Quite frankly, I do not view that action as even being piracy!
Really, the game companies should provide for a way to get wanted items - even if you have a site where one could pay to download ROMs of the stuff they don't want to make and sell in brick-and-mortar stores.
Seriously, I would pay for some of the games I in fact swiped...if there had been a way for me to do so.
That is to say, I really would choose to pay the original company to download a ROM...than download one for free...given a choice.
Unlikely, however, that the game companies will ever wake up to reality, and actually go the route of iTnues, Napster, and others.
