Gaming The 3DS Game You'll Get

Well after a recent turn of events and seeing that DNF is scheduled to come out May 3rd I may just pickup the 3DS itself. But eventually I think I'll get DOA, SSFIV, and RE: Mercenaries, not interested in the other titles.

I'm probably not buying a 3DS when it first comes out. I may not get it until Christmas or later. Still not sure yet, but i think i want to wait for some more games that interest me to release-

- Kid Icarus Uprising
- Paper Mario 3D
- RE Revelations
- Megaman Legends 3
- Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance

There's some more i forgot about i'm sure. I'm considering Rayman 3D since it hopes to be a decent portable rendition of the Dreamcast Rayman 2 with actual good controls (if it ends up being a decent port, i might buy it in the bargain bin). I love Rayman 2, and i've been waiting for a decent handheld port. Might also think about Zelda OOT3D. It'll be a good chance for me to really get into the game, i've never given it a fair enough chance to get very far (though i'm working on the N64 version lately when i can). Looks like a lovely update at least, even if there's no other content added. I've also never played MGS3, so that'll give me the chance i need.

I'll probably get RE: Mercenaries with my system. I'm just glad I'll be getting the system though.

-Legend of Zelda OoT
-Mario Kart (if it gets released this year)
No game from the launch so maybe I'm going to buy Pilotwings on the start

or maybe Lego Starwars

Having seen the piss-poor launch setup for here in the UK, I'm probably gonna leave it for a few days, see what else hits. If it's available I'll get DOA or Resi, but I'm not gonna buy a game at the launch just for the sake of having one. The only decent game in the launch lineup is Super Street Fighter IV, which I have for my 360 anyway.

I'm stuck between Resident Evil and Pilot Wings Resort.

Resident Evil looks like the game I would either like, but not be in love with or hate. Pilot Wings looks like my type of game, but kind of seems like a lot of nothing.

seriously, couldn't they have at least ONE first-party mascot (mario, zelda, icarus, etc) in teh lineup? Nintendo's main market is KIDS, so how bout some kids games? (not counting nintendogs cats, which is a sim)

...on another note, street fighter 4.

Awesome Nintendo first-party games will come out eventually, when they have had time to be created. When they come out they will be awesome.

Actually over at destructoid they brought up a good point about the lineup.......if they had OoT or a mario game.....do you think any of the other launch titles would sell.....

I can't decide on a game yet, but I do have my system pre ordered. I'm thinking pilot wings. I don't care too much for fighting games. Pet sim games are not good if the pets don't run away if you don't take care of them, like the old CATZ/DOGZ games on the PC ( had my monitor blow up and didn't get a new one for a couple weeks and remember starting the comp up going into CATZ and they had run away from neglect. ) Maybe R.E. but I might just wait for a few reviews befor I buy a game, who knows, I sure don't

Hm,if I can't wait to play games on it then I'd probably get Lego Starwars III.Pretty much because it's lego and nothing else interests me.

I live in Japan, so my launch list is a bit more... lacking....

I'll be getting Street Fighter IV on launch day, but I'll have to wait until April-ish to get Pilotwings and RE Mercenaries.

I plan on getting both as soon as I can, though. I played Pilotwings at Nintendo World and it was pretty awesome. If you ever had trouble with the rocket pack floating platforms on the N64 version, you'll be surprised at house easy it is to gauge your position in 3D.

I'm definitely getting Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition. I was planning on waiting and seeing how well it played with the Circle Pad, but I saw in a video that it's also compatible with the D-Pad, so I'm set. I was thinking of getting Dead or Alive: Dimensions as well, but I'm not too sure: I'm not a huge fan of the series but...Ryu Hayabusa in 3D on the go? Yes please
