+1 Video Recording w/ Cameras
+1 Better Camera Quality
+1 Analog Stick(s)
+1 Better Screen Resolution
+1 Better Media Support (mp3, flv, real aac, etc.)

+1 TV Output
+1 Motion Controls
+1 Store/Save Save Files on NAND/Hard Drive/Internal Memory
+1 3G support

+1 GB/GBC/GBA/SNES Emulation
+1 Video Recording
+1 Better Cameras
+1 Analog Sticks
+1 Better Screen Res.
+1 More internal memory
+1 Flash
+1 Better Web Browser
+1 Multi Touch
+1 Dual Toushscreens
+1 Accelerometer
+1 3G (But don't make it a requirement)

As for writing saves to the NAND, I think it would be better if we could have both to the NAND & cart. The 3DS is a portable gaming system, why would want to start over if you're using a different DS than your own? I think it would be better if they incorporated an option where you can go into the settings and copy over the save file of the inserted DS Cart to the NAND or the SD.

+1 Homebrew? (As in release an SDK so devs can create apps for the 3DS like the iPhone devs can and release them into the 3DS Store) Prolly won't happen.

Also motion control is already implemented into the current DSi as it uses the cameras to track motion and act like an accelerometer.

Devs can already put out "homebrew" if they don't want to make money off of their creations (Flipnote).

+1 to a USB port xD even though it isn't an option. If the 3DS had a big enough internal memory, it could be used as a memory stick to store documents and stuff not related to the 3DS, and that'd need a USB port or some sort of connector to a PC

Also I came up with something, if you had two multitouch screens, you could do this:
GH.jpg

The hands don't look as good as the 3DS (both drawn by me) but you get the idea. Gh without a guitar grip!

+1 GB/GBC/GBA/SNES/Other Emulation via Virtual Console
Duh.

+1 Analog Stick(s)
More fine-tuned controls in future games.

+1 Better Screen Resolution
Yummy.

-1 Flash Support (via tah intarweb)
It'd be wii-quality at extreme best, suck-ass at worst, most likely it'll be "mostly suckish".
People would complain and feel jipped/gypped/scammed/bamboozled/raped.
Flash is just terribly inefficient for what it does with the resources it takes.

-1 Multi-touch Touchscreen
In order to be useful enough while in a game the screens would need to be on the order of the XL.
Also, less battery life if they did this since the screen controller would need to be more advanced.

+1 TV Output
Hell yes. Though DS games would look blurry...

+1 Better Web Browser
The current uses a compression proxy, ew.

-1 3G Support
Would raise the price of the device by quite a bit (licensing fees, extra hardware) for even people that didn't use it, it would make a delay in it coming out since it'd need to pass FCC standards for more than it currently has to, the device would suck more power and weigh more, just no, buy a damn cell phone.

+1 2 Touch Screens
There have been times I wish I could have tapped something on the top screen to activate a menu or something for once... a few times I actually tried before "duh"ing at myself, 'cause it just seemed natural while I was playing.

+1 webcam
that would be soooooooo cooooooool
probably unrealistic tho

Webcam = better camera quality + better mic + more proccessing power + webcam app. Not that unrealistic if you ask me.

Over half of these features have no place on a gaming device.
If you want 3G and all that other bullshit go buy a cellphone.

[1] Better Web Browser +1
[0] 3D lol.
[0] 3G Support +1
[0] Better Microphone -1
[-2] 2 Touch Screens +1

+1 GB/GBC/GBA/SNES/Other Emulation via Virtual Console Yes. Just. Yes.
-1 Analog Stick(s) No, D-Pad is good enough for me. Analog sticks make it feel like a console, which it isn't
-1 Video Recording w/ Cameras Do we even need a camera on a gaming device?
-1 Better Camera Quality Do we even need a camera on a gaming device?
+1 Better Media Support (mp3, flv, real aac, etc.) Yes, just because I'm too lazy to convert stuff
+1 Better Screen Resolution Not necessary, but most of the time, it makes things look better
+1 Bigger NAND/Hard drive/Internal Memory Yes. More=better in this case
+1 Flash Support (via tah intarweb) Yes. I want to play flashgames wherever I am, if I have intarwebzorez
+1 Multi-touch Touchscreen Yes. So much more gameplay options!
+1 Motion Controls Yes. So much more gameplay options!
No Head Tracking to Produce 3D Dunno 'bout this one...
+1 Playing DSiWare off SD Card Yes. Portability of all software is a pre
+1 TV Output Yes. Awesome gameplay on big screen equals epic win.
+1 Store/Save Save Files on NAND/Hard Drive/Internal Memory Yes, that's really useful, however, needs some protection to clone saves (Pokemenz, etc.)
+1 Better Web Browser Of course! The current one (Opera) is slow, and the homebrew ones are a good job, but could be done better. That is, if the hardware allows it, which is not the case.
+1 3D Yes, just for the lolz
+1 3G Support Hmmm... yes. It allows for better online playing.
+1 Better Microphone Tough one... I don't really care about this one, however, if it allows better gameplay, I'm for it![/b
+1 2 Touch Screens Yep, better gameplay for the win!

Long post... took a while with the BB code... Blarg!

+1 3D
+1 GB/GBC/GBA/SNES/Other Emulation via Virtual Console
+1 Analog Stick(s)
+1 Better Screen Resolution
+1 Better Media Support (audio & video)
+1 Better Microphone
+1 Motion Controls

-1 Video Recording w/ Cameras

[15] GB/GBC/GBA/SNES/Other Emulation via Virtual Console +1
[10] Analog Stick(s) +1
[10] Video Recording w/ Cameras +1 The thing that the Dsi is missing which would help a lot.
[8] Better Camera Quality +1 Flash! And crisper image
[7] Better Media Support (mp3, flv, real aac, etc.) +1 No need for conversion.
[8] Better Screen Resolution +1 Gamecube alike graphics would rock
[5] Bigger NAND/Hard drive/Internal Memory +1 At least 4GB, no need for 16GB *cough PSP Go *cough
[4] Flash Support (via tah intarweb) 0 Not sure of it would prefer rather an on-time FLV conversion or use of the HTML-5 when youtube releases its final version.
[4] Multi-touch Touchscreen +1 why not?
[3] Motion Controls +1 Would love it
[3] No Head Tracking to Produce 3D +1 Im too lazy
[3] Playing DSiWare off SD Card -1 it would be nintendo error to do it again they just need an transferable key code for each Dsiware game to move it to another Dsi and it would block it on the other system.
[3] TV Output -1 Blurry graphics that’s all
[2] Store/Save Save Files on NAND/Hard Drive/Internal Memory +1
[1] Better Web Browser +1 TABS!
[0] 3D +1
[0] 3G Support -1 This is not an cellphone and 3G is not avaible in all countries, YET
[0] Better Microphone +1 Why not?
[-2] 2 Touch Screens -1 The cost will increase with this and it would be difficult
Better Speakers +1 Better Audio
Multi-Task support +1 Hear Music While playing, Use the Internet while playing
Improve the OS(or make a new one) +1 We need something better or new
Online WebChat with webcam and speakers +1 Skype alike
Online Gaming with talk +1 It would include people into massive online games
Home or in game Menu +1 just like the wii

+1 Home menu (because this)
+1 Hear music (mp3, not stupid AAC!) while playing
+1 Better browser, or no browser, but no crappy browser!
-1 TV Output - It'd raise the price, and for touchscreen games you'd need to look at the DS anyway. Only games that didn't use the touchscreen at all would work on a TV.
+1 Being able to transfer a downloaded game/app to another DS (require both to be online so the download rights can be removed from one and given to the other)
+1 Bass speaker - the current DSi speakers are ok but a bass speaker would rock.
+1 Skype app while playing (Online Gaming with talk) but it'd have to detect when the game itself supports conversations (ie Metroid Hunters) to a) disable the in-game chat, or b) disable skype.
+1 Touch screen(s) like in the iphone, the current ones get all messed up and decalibrate permanently if they get dirty on the sides. I know the iPhone doesn't support styli, but Nintendo could make a special stylus, like this but thinner.

games would benefit, you do not have to look down with some touch screen games , and why does it have to have blurry graphics ?

Change that to most games and then I'll support it
biggrin.gif
But I also think that the graphics wouldn't be blurry if it was done; MAYBE they'd look pixellated, but all the Wii VC games are pixellated and no one is complaining.

Forgot To add This

A .3DS video format +1 No special 3D sequences just a special format which is 3D NOT DEFAULT

+1 to 3D video format (I'd go with .3dv, or 3DimensionalVideo, so it isn't 3DS specific but specific to any 3D-capable device)
+1 to new OS
+1 to more strict quality benchmark from Nintendo, maybe we'll get less bad games
