ROM Hack Tharsis Forge: an Etrian Odyssey IV Save Data Editor

I'm using Checkpoint with Luma. So after I use this save editor and hit save, I'm copying those four files that make up the save back onto my SD card and using Checkpoint to put the save back into my game. And it doesn't show the changes I made. For Citra, I'm finding where the saves are kept for the game and overwriting them with the edited files. That doesn't show the change either.
