Does the Wii have a working TurboGrafx16/PC Engine CD Emulator, I want to play my translated version of Rondo of Blood but I find that both HugoWii and WiiEngine have their own problems (Load Error with Hugo and No Sound with WiiEngine) and Retroarch won't even start up for me

Delete your config file for RA and do a clean install. Make sure to place syscard3.pce in your system folder to play Turbo/PC Engine CD games.

RA is probably the easiest option, if you want you could try this special build that changes the absurd 512x232p screen reso to 512x240p/480, it also changes 341x232 to 352x240, for games like R-Type plus the needed screen resos. Previously the display was not vertically centered this is also fixed. Finally video output is stretched a little in 4:3 mode to match an actual PC engine.

Hey guys does the Wii version of RetroArch support filters like HQX4 or xBRZ for Snes, Nes, Genesis, PCE emulation?

I know the Windows version of RetroArch has these filters. Or is the Wii too slow to support these image filters?

I just found out that the Wii has a port of RetroArch so I will try it today for PCE emulation :)

Actually it does, the upcoming version will debut them on Wii, due to the way RA is the filters work on all cores, but fullspeed will be limited to simpler cores. Personally a 2x bilinear would have been enough for me and less cpu intensive.

Thus far these are the cpu filters:
blargg snes ntsc
2xbr
2xsai
darken - If it wasn't so dark it would be useful, perhaps for GBA but an overlay will work as well.
epx
lq2x
scale2x
phosphor2x
super2xsai
super eagle

Ok got in RetroArch and Rondo just gives me a "failed to load" error

RA is very specific with image reading, make sure the CUE's internal name is pointing to the right ISO/BIN
You could also inject your version of the game into the VC version. There's a guide around here that's a bit outdated but works for the most part. Only works on NAND though, and audio is either 48kbps or 64kbps Vorbis

Then "02 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).iso" needs to be the name of the ISO, unless you change it, btw external WAV files might not work with RA but I can't remember.

Yeah mine's just in a single iso & cue format, I suspect RA's going to run into problems with either multiple files and/or wav format (plus with your audio in wav I suspect you're not saving much space either)
Thanks for the news regarding the upcoming RA filters by the way SuperrSonic! :D

I been trying to get my rips to work and none do. I put the syscard.pce in the system file and everytime I try to load a game the ISO isn't showing but the .cue is. Any ideas that I can try to get this working?

In RetroArch? You have to load the CUE, then the cue points to the ISO/BIN

Is there a program that I can use to see if the cue is pointing to the ISO correctly? or do I do that manually? Sorry I am kinda dumb hence my handle.
