ROM Hack Texturing NSBMD's in 3DS max 6?

Hey, I have a question about 3DS max 6. When I import a NSBMD model into it, there are usually no textures. So I looked trough the program and was NOT able to find a texturing mode

Can anyone help me? I have really NO idea xD And if I export it to .imd WITH textures, will the .nsbmd file after converting imd to nsbmd have textures?

I exported a NSBMD and converted it to a obj file with nsbmd tool. So I exported with Sketchup to a format, which 3DS max 6 can open. Now, the textures dissappear. So I think I have to retetexture it in 3DS mx 6 before exporting it to .imd.
Understand now? And I'm not going to make Pokemon Hack
