So now that the new Everybody Votes channel is up, anybody with a modchip installed get it?

Its actually a neat channel, I think it'll get more use than photo and news, but less usage than weather and internet for me. I haven't modded my wii yet though.

It's a new Official Nintendo Wii Channel you can download for free in the Wii Ware Area in the Wii Shopping Channel. They are basic polls, two options to choose for each poll as of now, and you vote using a Mii of your choosing, and you can vote and predict what people will pick. It's rather interesting and you get a message in your Wii when the poll closes of the results and how well you are "in sync" with everyone worldwide. It's free, hardly takes up any space, check it out, it's fun.

Very unexpected channel. Fried eggs or boiled? lol - I like it.
Gotta think of some good suggestions for polls now....

For those not sure whats going on, download it from the shop channel.
Edit - sorry imyourxpan - you already said that. ^

lol it's no biggie. I was expecting anything like this either, but it's unique and pretty cool.

I guess our word is heard in our votes, but I wonder how well Nintendo will be in accepting our poll suggestions. Will it takes days, weeks, hours? It just came out, so who knows how it'll turn out.

Who wants to take bets on how long before its used for game-related polls to give Nintendo some ideas of what their buyers would like?

I shall have to quote myself on this one:

QUOTE(veho @ Feb 14 2007, 02:06 PM)So, either Nintendo will use this worldwide polling system to gather valuable information about their user base, in order to create better products to meet our demands, or to create inversely different products to hook those who don't have a Wii yet.Â

Or, Nintendo will hand over all the information gathered this way to our respectful governments, who will then use the "mainstream indicator" to identify the most deviant gamers, and keep them under close surveilance, lest they wrap themselves in dynamite and blow up a convenience store.

The truth is out there...

cool channel. i hope they take my poll suggestions soon
the fact it was totally unannounced is very cool

i don't understand why i had to 'update' and THEN download the channel from wiishop also

yeah, but i guess it was just a small fix so the channel could run correctly, i mean the menus for the channel aren't the same as the others. i'm guessing that's why.

They are already doing Market Research. Its not that hard to see.

Which do you like better?

Dogs or Cats?

Nintencats anyone?

Think of every question as a loaded question that Nintendo is going to use; because I guarantee they are looking at all these answers.
