Terrible analysis. FX rate is only relevant to foreign investors (in which case lower is better, since that’s me), $TSLA’s growth far outpaces the drop in USD value YTD and even if what you said was correct (it isn’t), the value of USD has increased in the last few months, not decreased. Just over the course of last month USD strengthened its position by 2.3% and is currently at a 3-month high against EUR.

https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-...k-investors-look-us-data-releases-2025-11-03/

Not that I care about the Euro, Pound Sterling is more relevant to me. This time 6 months ago 1 USD was sitting at 0.75 GBP, it is now at 0.77 GBP. This time a year ago it was at… 0.77 GBP. Remarkable insight, truly the sky is falling. Please, never invest. My portfolio outperforms the market average so I’ve got nothing to worry about.
Tell me that you don't know how inflation works without telling me that you don't know how inflation works. And of course you would pick GBP for your laughable comparison. If you were serious you would look at EUR<>USD and CNY<>USD. You are not serious, though, and we all know this by now. Your portfolio outperforms the market you say. Guess it was luck in your case, cannot be your strong background in economics, that's for sure.

I don't think the matter is about being serious or not, literally just looking at the currency he relies on for everyday activities. whether that is a sign of short-termism or not, that's another matter.

I pick GBP because I live in the UK, it’s the only comparison relevant to me, and even if I did choose EUR (which I mentioned anyway), I’d still be correct per the attached article. The ticker we’re discussing outpaces inflation (by a lot). Not only that, inflation doesn’t affect how much stock you have, it affects the currency, so with high inflation in mind you are *better off* holding stock than you are holding money in the bank. The yuan has been 0.14 to the dollar pretty much all year, not to mention that the yuan has been in the shit for 3 years now. You can stop, I’m outperforming the market 3x (market average is 12%, I’m sitting at a comfy 36%). It is painfully obvious that you don’t know what you’re talking about, so I’m not sure what you’re doing in a thread about the stock market. I won’t be engaging you about this anymore.

And it still won't be enough to appease his ego, so what's the fucking point. He already "won" the game of capitalism long ago, now the only thing left for him to win is a Darwin award after the drugs slowly rot away all his organs.
He will never get that trillion

I really don't believe Tesla will make enough money

You are nothing more than a troll. YOU have been the one who started the discussion about the stock market. As a Global Moderator you really should do better. I even told you that the stock market is a bad economic indicator. Here's a good one for you:

https://money.usnews.com/investing/...urge-to-two-decade-high-challenger-data-shows

https://www.challengergray.com/blog/october-challenger-report-153074-job-cuts-on-cost-cutting-ai/

If you now blame it all on AI I will call you out for trolling again, because obviously it has to do with the current US administration and their bullshit politics.

So now tell me: if the USA is doing so great, how come it has the worst data about employment over the course of the LAST TWO DECADES ... and the orange idiot is even trying to make everyone hide those numbers because it would show what a failure him and his sycophants are. Right now they are starving their own population (even kids), but hey at least a child trafficking piece of human garbage is feeling way better now: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...mails-minimum-security-bryan-texas-rcna242218

That you are still supporting the right-wings tells me everything I need to know about you, which you even know yourself already, it seems: you are endless trash.

Absolute cinema.

Lovely how one gets literal with meanings or not like a traffic light.
Also take note how they said "I won’t be engaging you about this anymore.", but still always wants to have the last word. My point still stands: it's a shame a person like this is allowed to be a Global Moderator on here and they really should do better. I always thought that you would need to be able to read to moderate a Forum but obviously they hate reading otherwise they wouldn't be that uneducated.

I will say it again: the stock market is absolutely not a good indicator for the economy of a country. I guess they still believe that the value of a stock represents the value of a company, when in reality it's more or less only a wild guess about the economic outlook of a company and the expectation of its investors. The job market is actually a way better indicator, but they totally keep ignoring my inputs about that. Coincidence? I guess not. More like weaponized incompetency.

I guess they still don't get the difference between the Tesla stock and the stock market in general. One would need to be able to read to actually catch that.

I definitely won’t be discussing the stock market with you because it’s a pointless, fruitless endeavour - we may as well discuss nuclear physics, you don’t know anything about it and demonstrated as much. I am still participating in the thread though, that hasn’t changed. I’m very clear about what I mean when I say things. This is a thread about the stock market, more specifically the Tesla ticker and its performance. You want to talk about everything *except* the stock market, with the explicit intention to get emotional responses by bringing up unrelated subjects. You’re not getting any (because what you’re doing is pretty obvious) so you’re kicking up a fuss. By definition, you are currently trolling - you want to get a specific reaction out of people, you’re not here to discuss the topic. As such, I’m not required to humour you.

And yet you prove his point by replying anyway and getting the last word.

So tell me Foxi4: what does your latest bunch of meaningless comments have to do with the topic? You are not even trying to stay on the topic. Again: You should really do better as a Global Moderator. How are you supposed to hold people responsible for any sort of rules / agreement, if all you do is basically shit-posting? You are a disgrace to the Administration of GBATemp.

You are also making absolutely baseless assumptions. You have no clue who I am, nor what I did for a living in my working life. Maybe I know more about a lot of different topics than you could ever dream off. I know for a fact that reading is not your strength, as you've demonstrated us more than once within all of those threads in the politics sub-forum.

Enjoy your profits from the US-Stock market as long, as you can. The bubble is probably going to burst sooner than you expect.

I will leave a few links here so you can educated yourself:

Of course I'm waiting for your useless reply to tell me how I'm wrong about everything. You and DJT seem to share one character trait: you both seem to be clueless but still think you're better than everyone else. I can totally understand why both of you are on the very right spectrum of politics, because everywhere else people wouldn't take you serious at all and mock you all day long for your seeming lack of mental capacity, and just like DJT you love to have the last word on everything, which you have definitely proven in this thread, again.

Whatever you may be involved in professionally almost certainly doesn’t involve the stock market since you don’t know anything about it. If it does, it’d have to be in some kind of roundabout way that requires zero understanding of the basic principles. There’s a lot of industries like that. I don’t personally care because at this stage it doesn’t matter. You and I will not be discussing the stock market in-depth going forward since everything you’ve said so far on the subject is the exact inverse of reality, particularly your take on FX impact which was just hilariously off the mark.

In any case, while we’re on the subject of AI (something Tesla isn’t involved in much outside of self-driving since Musk already spun off a separate entity, xAI, that deals specifically with what consumers would consider artificial intelligence), it’s a productivity multiplier, not a 1:1 replacement for actual skilled labour. It will separate the grain from the chaff, however. If there is indeed a market bubble and it bursts then that’s great news for small investors that risk very little - it lowers their barrier to entry. Frankly, the COVID-induced mini financial crisis was the best thing that happened to small investors in decades. Never waste a good crisis. Either way, it’s here to stay, it’s only a question of picking the winners and losers right.

“Don’t worry about tractors, guys - we’ll always need 90%+ of the population involved in agriculture, those city slickers with their engine doo-dad have no idea what they’re talking about. Nothing tills a field like a good donkey” - same energy, really. Silly to even argue about considering how quickly AI is being integrated into just about everything. Small investors eagerly await all the panic selling - more for them, and at a discount too. Of course we won’t dwell on that, the impact of AI on everyday life is a big enough topic as it is.

"uh-oh ... that wall of text ... too much, cannot read." (this is what you would have said when I would have dropped this comment)

did you even care to check those links and educate yourself, or didn't you even try? One day even you will find out that you cannot eat the stock market and AI is not going to feed you. I guess you don't care. All you care about is having the last word in every conversation, no matter how useless your last word might be. Like I said: it seems like you share a lot of character traits with DJT, you even can do the petulant child as good as he can. Now go and lick some fascist boots before you come back to dropping your last word, again. I will not answer this time, though, as I'm able to tell what's a lost cause and you are a lost cause for sure. I hope you enjoy the racism that DJT is cultivating around the world, as a Pole in the UK. Maybe you can kiss Elon's ass a little and he's doing the HEIL FUHRER thing just for you, again. Oh boy, you are so lost. Why don't you move the the USA, btw? Afraid? Scared? Are you only strong behind your keyboard? The way you write you should embrace the Administration and current situation there. Or is it only strong words and you are just another coward?
