If you would like to be a guest on the Tempcast, you'll need to send us a clip. It should be at least a minute long talking about whatever you desire, preferably something that you're knowledgeable about. Be aware that we'll use this clip to determine your mic quality, charisma, insight, comprehensibility, and so one, so make it good (use bullet points if necessary, not a script). You can record yourself using Vocaroo, Audacity, the Windows default sound recorder, or whatever recording software that tickles your fancy. All that matters is that an attachment or link ends up in the inbox of 'gbatempcast(AT)gmail(DOT)com' with the subject line "Tempcast Guest".

I found your after outro conversation offensive. I really enjoy the show, but that discussion was odd to say the least.

I don't really recall us talking about anything "offensive" I'd actually love to know what you're talking about. I know we spoke about boobs but not really much else?

Maybe my memory's just being shit, though.
I'd love if you could PM me and let me know what your complain is about and I'd love to work it out with you.

The podcast was marked 'explicit'. I would assume you understand that a silly gay porn conversation counts as 'explicit'?

If you don't want to be offended, go listen to NPR or something. :P

That is a good point, however, explicit is not synonymous with homophobic. The use of sexually explicit content is not offensive. The use of the topic of gay porn is not offensive. The use of the term 'gay' and 'faggot' with negative connotations is offensive to me.

PS, the gamecube controller feels like a piece of bark.

Also i find it hard to believe that someone who has dumped over 900 hours into animal crossing is "edgy"

Pokemon Emerald and Pokemon Box are still pretty awesome.
I still go back and play RSE from time to time. It feels pretty nostalgic. But also from hindsight, the game design and fluency of RSE are even better than some of the latest Pokemon games.

Booting up Pokemon Box today still feels pretty magical...just remembering back in the day it lets you connect all five pokemon rpgs on the GBA, store 1500 Pokemon, transfer them in between your games. It also gives your unique Pokemon with special moves (e.g. surfing pichu) for depositing Pokemon to the box. Being able to display the Pokemon in a 3d-esque stage/show was a cool gimmick. And it included the rom of ruby/sapphire so you could continue playing off your GBA progress on gamecube (that was before the time of gameboy player).
Listening to the remix of Fallarbor Town theme playing as the bgm of Pokemon Box brings tears to my eyes.

It was too bad the game is too difficult to obtain.

You know, you could send an email to be on the show.

I mean, we have instructions on how to become a guest right in the first post and we check our email every Wednesday, two days before we record.
