Ever played Mortal Kombat Armageddon? That is the reason I will NOT be signing! The WiiMote / Nunchuck is not suitable for a Tekken style game, maybe first person fighter of some sort but it just does not translate well to a side on fighter.
Alright so if you played Ninjabread Man would that mean you wouldn't play Mario Galaxy?

I don't get the comparison.
Just because you played a sinlge fighting game with the wiimote and nunchuck doesn't mean you have to should condem any future prospects of fighting games on the wii. EG say you played Ninjabread Man and found it to be utterly horrible, does that mean you wont touch another platformer ever again?

Whoah - ok, message recieved. No need for the hostility.

It was my opinion, a voicing of my concerns for a port of a game not made for the Wii.

The Wii can do an amazing fighter, just unsure about porting something direct. Maybe a Tekken made for the Wii only, but in my experience games have suffered from ports.

As far as esclusivity goes look at Namco/Bandai's tactics. Ace Combat used to be PlayStion only but it switched to 360 only. It's no surprise they released Tekken 6 on 360. Also if they can port Soul Calibur to PSP and Tekken 6 on PSP then why not Wii. Yeah, they did poor on sales on Soul Calibur Legends, but that was because they didn't make the game as good as it could have been. It would be more like original Xbox graphics. Which was not all that bad.

Why do you even bother. It's Tekken, it's PS exclusive and has always been. It's not gonna come out for Wii.

there is tekken for the GAMEBOY ADVANCE.

No, I'm not going to sign it. I will rather get a Tekken game be exclusive for the Wii only instead of a bad port coming over here! Mortal Kombat Arm, is a good example of a bad port.

If I'm right, Tekken has never seen light on a Nintendo console. If we were to see Tekken on a Nintendo console, it definitely wouldn't suit the Wii. I would want Left 4 Dead on the Wii but that isn't happening. I would like to live on a chocolate boat that goes down a stream of gum drops and happiness but that isn't happening, at least not until I sacrifice enough puppies and babies.

A petition is for things that are important, really. You use it to abolish horse-drawn carriges in New York or stop the church from selling indulgences, not asking that some game that will never, ever, ever see the light of day on the Wii gets to the Wii.

I've never been a Tekken fan anyway. If I had to choose a fighter other than Smash Bros. (and I don't really like fighters a whole lot), I'd choose Soul Caliber.

i would like tekken 6 for the wii...but just like the others had already commented...no wiimote motion controls for this style really is pointless on fighting games. using the gamecube controller or the classic will be good.

I'm not signing just because I over all don't care. I do want to make a comment.
It's so funny how what issues come up when people ask for equal games on Wii.

It's like they look for reason not too then reason too.

What's the most popular version of Tekken. At least the version that gamers played the most.
Tekken Tag! What system that was on. The PS2. So you are telling me that the Wii couldn't get a game of that quality. That's made for the Wii from the ground up. Yes the game will not be as pretty as it's HD sister. It still doesn't mean the game wouldn't be any good. The Wii has every control option you can ask for. Nintendo doesn't hold a gun to game developers, and make them use Wii features. If this was really true. How come every game is not online, have DLC, use SD cards for music, WiiMotion Plus, or Wiispeak.
So the controller would not be a issue. If you want to play the game that badly. You will make the effort to buy what you need to play it.
Next another reason how the game looks doesn't matter. Any one remember a game called Soul Calibur 2. Which version sold the most. The graphic beast Xbox version, or the 100 million system sold PS2 version? Neither! The GameCube version sold the most. Why Content! Everyone wanted to play as Link! Even though the Xbox version was superior graphic wise. Next Namco then pulls a money move and make Soul Calibur 3 only for the PS2. Even though the Cube Version sold more, and the Xbox could allow them to make a better game. Why well the PS2 has sold over 100 million more systems. It's sold twice of both system combined.
So your telling me a Wii specific Tekken, Soul Calibur ,any fighter. Could not sale on the Wii. As long they make sure the game is up to the standards. They hold to their HD games. Making sure it looks as good as it can look. Play as good, and have Wii exclusive content. AKA Link and Pit in Soul Calibur or Captain Falcon in Tekken " You know he could fit in that game. There is a dam robot and panda!"

That is ridiculous to even believe that. The made a Soul Calibur and Tekken for the PSP. When we all know those games aren't going to look or play better. Than it's home console counterparts. Also the fact that odds are most gamers are just going to steal the ISO!
A Wii version with Wii extras can be sold at the same time. To add to the overall sales. They same way they do to all Multi platform releases.
There is money to be made. If you willing to put in the work! Instead of coming up with reason why not. How about why shouldn't wii try! 50 million consoles and 9 million in japan alone would buy Tekken!

I think I need to backtrack my previous statement in favour of this one. A very valid point.

Um... Sorry to burst your bubble but Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and the Naruto titles work fine with the Wii Remote/Nunchuck style control. Not every game needs to be played with four face buttons and parallel analog sticks

Nope, as per stingray1059 who posted before you - Tekken on the Gameboy Advance. It was quite a good game actually with 3 person tag.

LightKD - Yeah, I already retracted part of that comment, see previous post. My primary concern was trying to match that control system then adding the wiimote motion, like they did with MK. It can be made to work, as per your post.
