Does anyone happen to know a site where I can find technical explanations on the security of the PSP, or detailed technical info about the PSP in general? I've been searching for the past hour or so, but all I can find are tutorials on "How to install X CFW" or "New Exploit for OFW X". Something like 3DSbrew or Wiibrew but for the PSP would be ideal. I'm not asking you to do my work for me, but if anyone has a few helpful links, I'd be very grateful if you could post them here. Thanks in advance.

Well PRO is open-source and the googl-code wiki has some (very) basic info.

Wololo's forums are a great resource, though. There's lots of PSP developers there and they tend to keep track of a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff.

And yes, there's PSP security/programming sections of the forums.

I managed to find http://video.google.fr/videoplay?docid=-993960164729227655&q=24C3&total=30&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=6 this. Should be useful.

That video is so old......

lan.st is a good reference too. Maxconsole would be useful as well as quickjump (DAX posted on the former and was a moderator there, the latter was home to Freeplay and other notable dev's such as Hellcat), except both seem to have almost completely obliterated most of their archived content.

In addition there are the ps2dev forums (don't be put off by the name)

I do not have much and I have not got time to comb through my bookmarks (not to mention I did not have a lot after trying to find some for the ROM hacking docs) but the old dark alex wiki had some stuff, it is gone now but http://web.archive.org/web/20100211225422/http://alek.dark-alex.org/pspwiki/index.php/M33_Firmware (the internet archive has quite a bit of it) and http://daxdump.wikia.com/wiki/Custom_Firmware might get you something.
