The Taliban hacking which hit the news yesterday has been blamed by the Islamist group on the U.S. saying that the attacks on its network were acts of “technical larceny”, a report from Reuters says.

Taliban Hacking Blamed on U.S. Report1 300x225 Taliban Hacking Blamed on U.S. ReportAccording to the report, news that Taliban spiritual leader Mullah Omar was dead was spread to mobile phones, emails and websites connected to the Taliban tech network after the hacking.

Reuters adds that the Wednesday attacks have led to the Taliban again issuing revenge threats for the attacks.

For a long time now, the group, which is paranoid of leaking information about operations, discussions inside the group and location, has had an online presence which include websites, a Twitter account and a page on Facebook.

Quick to point fingers, Reuters said that the Taliban said that the U.S. is a “cunning enemy” after the attacks.

However, a NATO spokeswoman from Afghanistan reportedly told the news organization that they had no knowledge of the Taliban hacking.

Making threats after everything lately is kinda vague and loses the point. "IMMA BLOW MAH LAZER IN YUR PLACEZ!" when you do it all the time with no real goal to achieve (unless you count that there is at least one suicide bomber left, them idiots..). Taliban should honestly grow up and lose the attitude, just like the US has done after a bit of gun-frenzy around the world. "
