Gaming Taiko no Tatsujin Portable not saving

Taiko Portable 1 isnt saving. which is very odd because i've created save data because i've installed downloaded songs. but the main problem is that everytime i create a file and reload, its's not there anymore. its very annoying. please help!

oh whoops. i had autosave on off and didnt click 'seebu' under options.
