Hacking System Update on Modded 3DSXL

hey! a while back i bought a modded 3ds xl but lately i've been putting off preforming the latest system update because im worried it'll mess with the modded stuff. unfortunately im pretty useless when it comes to understanding this stuff but i can say luma is v.10.2.1, and when i tried looking it up people seemed to say it needed to be v11 so im not really sure where to go from here if anybody could help out that'd be super cool! thanks!

You just copy the luma files from github and put on the root of your sd card, more info:

afaik, luma 11.0 isn't required for the latest firmware. I would update anyway though as it copies itself to the ctrnand by default, so you'll be able to enjoy the system even without an sd card plugged in.
