Hacking Question System update message on EmuMMC

I hacked my switch yesterday, and i had the new system update dowloaded on stock firmware (but i did not update, it is on version 8.1).
The EmuMMC was created with this system update downloaded as well. And the message appears everytime i try to run an application.
I tried to enter maintenance mode, but this only cleared the system update from sysnand.

Is there a way to remove this downloaded but not installed system update from the emuMMC?

I think you entered the maintenance mode from sysnand and not from emunand.

Try to boot hekate and the select boot emummc. When it shows the hekate splash logo when booting emummc instant press and hold + and -. Then you should be in the maintenance mode from emummc.

Do not enter maintainance mode there's no need to.
simply download gag-order and patch your console.
it'll remove the update supernag and you'll have to reboot afterwards.
