Hacking SysNAND backup failed

So I’ve been installing CFW on my new 3DSXL and have followed the guide word for word. I’m to the point where I’m using godmode9 to create the backups of my SysNAND, but every time I’ve tried, it simply fails at some point and just says “SysNAND backup failed”
It’s failed 3 times now...

I have another microSD card but I don’t know how to go about transferring what’s on this card to that one and what I would need to transfer anything. I’m terrified of hitting a wrong button here and messing something up because I don’t know how any of this works on the inside, I’m just following instructions. Help please D:

Okay dumb question number 2: if I just copy the ENTIRETY of this SD card to another card that is bigger, can I remount it into godmode9 and proceed?

Currently installing GBA injects as we speak

BTw is there anything I can’t do anymore?
Like disabled spotpass features, but are there any other ways Nintendo can nerf me through Eshop use, game/system updates, etc?
Basically what can I NOT do in order to keep my system protected from a ban?

other than that you're never 100 percent safe when using cfw.
