Syscheck looks okay for the most part, except u are missing bootmii ios. You should run the hackmii installer in order to install it (and as boot2 if possible and not done already) and if u don't have a nand backup u should make one as well

Also please stop creating new threads with each post, it makes it difficult to track your situation

Hi man, I apologize for creating new threads, I'm new to gbatemp... I tried the hackmii solution that you suggested but sadly it didn't solve the issue :( I also installed bootmii and an ios and backed up my nand. What should I do now?
Also, thank you for your patiance! Your help is greatly appreciated.

The issue is what again? Disks blackscreen when launched from the disk channel but not via usbloader? Have u double checked your priiloader system menu hacks as suggested here:
Obligatory post a syscheck request:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/

Also, have you checked if you have priiloader installed? If so check if you have any system menu hacks enabled/disabled.

Edit: I didn't expect that installing bootmii and making a nand backup would solve this issue, but it's still important to have done so

Edit2: these are original disks right? Not backup disks?

Yes, these are original discs. They get recognized by the disc channel but all I get by lunching them through the disc channel is a blackscreen. The discs run when I lunch them through wiiflow, and the wierdest part is that when I run backups via sd or usb I get a blackscreen as well. These are the patches I have enabled/disabled:

Could it be remove deflicker? It may be enabled in both priiloader and gx by default and disabled in other loaders? I'm not certain about that though

Edit: maybe a video mode issue? Do your wiimotes stay connected on these blackscreens?

My wii remotes disconnect during the blackscreen and the only way to shut down the console is to hold the power button for a while... I removed the deflicker, and when I tried to lunch some backups it redirected me to the hbc...

So disabling deflicker from within usbloader gx changed the blackscreen behaviour to instead reload the hbc?

Edit: have u made sure you're running the latest version of the loader from either oscwii.org or modmii or @blackb0x 's signature
I think I might have gotten a bit confused, I got redirected to the hbc when trying to run games from my sd card also before disabling deflicker. Sorry for the confusion

Try disabling all priiloader system menu hacks (except for blocking updates) and see if you can load games from the disk channel (re-enable the hacks after the test if it still fails, and if it works reenable them one at a time until u find the one that breaks things)

If it doesn't work I think at least part of your problem might be hardware related. You could do a fresh ohneschwanzenegger nand installation (which carries a bit of risk if u don't have bootmii installed as boot2, directions here https://wii.hacks.guide/wii-factory-reset.html), so it's like the Wii was just unboxed. If that doesn't fix it then u know for sure hardware issues are at play

Backups not loading from sd or usb is one thing (could be bad rips, bad settings, incompatible drives, etc), but original disks not playing from the disk channel even though you're running stock IOS is strange. Even more strange that it works when launched using WFL, perhaps Wiiflow is doing something to bypass hardware issues? I mean, that would be awesome if that was the case, but seems unlikely.

Sorry but I'm not sure how much more help I can personally offer

Disabling system menu hacks didn't work, but I can't install bootmii as boot2, only as an ISO. How common is it for a wii to get bricked while trying to get a fresh nand installation?
Also, thanks alot for the help, being so patient, and also developing modmii!
Peace

I don't think I've ever heard a report of a fresh ohneschwanzenegger nand restoration causing brick, but you know how it goes, there are no guarantees (insert disclaimer here, lol). It's recommended to use nandbincheck on the generated nand before restoring it though... that being said interpreting the check results can be challenging even for experienced users

Crazy update! I tried using the sd card as a USB device with the wii to run the backups from USB and not SD.... And it worked!!! I still Have the disc channel problem, but I can just rip the games and play them from the sd card. Could this mean that my wii doesn't read files from the SD card slot at a proper speed?

What loader? How many partitions on your sd card? Go into windows data management to check

Iirc gx currently has an issue with sd card backup loading (for now) but only if it's not partitioned properly. You may have worked around this issue without having to repartiton by connecting it via USB.

I used usb loader gx, and I don't have any partitions on the sd card (64gb, fat32, IFS).
