Homebrew Homebrew app sys-patch - sysmod that patches on boot

thanks so much!
The one I've downloaded works just fine on my Switch i.e. starts, runs and plays fine for a couple of minutes.

Title ID: 010065A01CFB6000
Update: v1.0.4 (v262144)
Installed with DBI from here.

Tested on firmware 22.1.0 and Atmosphere 1.11.1, sys-patch 1.6.1 (no sigpatches though, removed them a long time ago).

With that said, I'm not sure what could be an error on your side. :/ I would backup and remove atmosphere and bootloader folders, maybe even switch folder, and grab a fresh copy of the latest Atmosphere, hekate, sys-patch and DBI and retry. Make sure that the files you're installing haven't been tempered with previously. I usually check the files for integrity with NxFileViewer.

detection if patched by file or not was not working correctly:
https://github.com/borntohonk/sys-patch/commit/873495128eeb4cbdd8c21ee35450ec54b6080ffb

es_22.0.0+=Patched (sys-patch) (0x763F8)
es_22.0.0+=Patched (file) (0x763F8)

i added logging of the relative offset being patched, i also have re-added colors to the overlay which stopped working after retargeting newer libtesla.

and the overlay also should display the offset that is being patched

So what is it "fixing"?
Could be a homebrew compatibility issue? you can read the changelog for clarification.

Anyway, you can either use the 1.6.0 or 1.6.1 its a matter of what works for you. If your current version works well, updating is rather optional.

Guys, I updated my Switch to firmware version 22.1.0 and Atmosphere 1.11.1, sys-patch 1.6.1 and the games are showing "Software could not be started". Is Atmosphere working normally? What can I do to fix this? Help! (Friend's Switch)

if it's the re-released version of sys-patch 1.6.1, you could provide the /config/sys-patch/log.ini

To summarize, the Switch was on version 19.0, then I accidentally updated via Synand. In that case, I reinstalled the entire environment, but when I installed the latest update, it now goes into jailbreak mode, but the games don't work, as jailbreak mode wasn't activated.

that means you have to re-install your games, as you booted without the ES patch active, that will cause your current installed titles to become invalidated (you also failed to provide the log.ini)
