I updated the NAND to 7.0.1 and now i can launch the paylod but when i click run custom firmware in the sx os menu it just goes black and nothing loads. I have the newest version of sx os.

I had this problem as well. Just remove your themes. Just move the "titles" folder somewhere else.

Never heard of this happening for 7.0.1, only 8.x. I updated to 7.0.1 yesterday with a custom theme and all went fine.

Actually this was happening as early as the 6.0 fw and below. Themes that are made on lower firmwares would sometimes or oftentimes black screen when use on higher firmwares.

    My existential nightmare..
Just to ensure that there's nothing wrong with your NAND or not, try launching another CFW.
by what means did you update your console by the way?
