maybe your charger or the usb port is broken ... onl because it was plugged in doesn't mean that you can be 100% sure thst it is full charged ;)

Do you have autoRCM enabled? If not boot the switch normally and see if it gives you the sd card needs formatting message, I had exactly this and that was the reason. I had to reformat my sd and start agian from a backup.

yes mate i have it enabled im unable to boot my switch with or without the dongle plugged in

Red light on the dongle is no.juice . Plug it into.pc or phone for 5 secs to charge it's capacitors. It will go green when ready then boot auto rcm or stick it in switch and power cycle.

Have you tried a usb c cable and a pc to boot and send a payload???

sorry for being thick but how or wehre can i find out how to do that

He meant that it (the dongle) has not enough power to function.

As for payload and that stuff, check Skullator's YT tutorials, eg.:

for the basics.

With SX Pro you can put the payload stuff (hekate, or what-have-you) and launch it from there, before SX-OS boots.

Juice = power = lekky = electricity = energy = DEUCE matha fakka !

Seriously the dongle needs 1-5 secs zap to ensure she can deliver payload.
You can use NXloader on your andriod to deploy the paylod or tegraRCM smash from your pc - using USB c to C cable if on phone and A to C if on pc. download the payload from SX OS site put on phone and use NXloader to deploy it to phone .

You sure you have charged it and if the switch is in autoRCM - it could actually be flat bat - as the SX OS is famous for not powering off unless you do ti from the SX OS dashboard. ( Dont use AutoRCM for that very reason)

The bitch with AutoRCM is that it wont power off if you use Horizon OS power off options - it turns back on which means its in autoRCM when powered on (USB charge connected) . IT does not charge while in autoRCM ........ you get it now?
If you dongle is defective - as in you know for sure it has been charged (Green light) and still nothing - try using nxloader and SX OS payload thus proves if your SX pro is defective or not .
