Hey guys,

I am really new on the Switch scene and I didn't found my answer yet,

Here is my question : I am using SX OS 2.4.1 beta for OFW 6.2, I have few games that requires an update, I know that I can use .NSP files to update, but, all my games are currently .XCI, so, what's the best thing to do ?

- Download new updated .XCI games ?
- Update games officially via the Switch ?
- Switch from .XCI files to .NSP files ?

Thanks for the answer guys !

PS : Bonus question, anyone know how can I add manually the missing Pokemon to Pokemon Let's Go in order to have full Pokedex ?

Cheers

There's no 'updated XCI' files on the scene.
But you can

>Update games officially via the Switch (some risks)
>USE XCI game and NSP update
>go full NSP
>use XCI game and NSP update to repack XCI to include both base game and update. That way we gonna get 'updated XCI', that scene doesn't provide. Tool for doing that is named NSCB.

Oh so you just taught me something,

I can download the .NSP update, and install it even if I use only .XCI games ? I thought I wasn't working like that

Retail carts works like that, and XCI is just emulation of the card drive.
