To give us free piracy? I thought they are against piracy.

To screw with TX? Wouldn't the best way to do that is finish up Atomsphere and give everyone a superior option for free?

If by "they" you're referring to Reswitched, they're not the ones reversing SXOS. Different people are doing it for different motivations.

But hexkyz is working on Atomsphere. GitHub project page list him as one of the three main contributors. I've seen his commits before.

Whatever OP said hexkyz bricked his shit trying to crack it and I reacted to that. If I'm wrong so be it. But then my question is why waste your time with SX OS?

The amount of irony in these posts is staggering to me...

Anyway, if this claim is true (I see no reason to believe that it isn't, based on where the claim originated from), I can't say that I am too surprised. Personally, this was one of several reasons why I had never even considered buying their junk product. This is what can happen when you buy products from shady companies. I also find it amusing that they are (apparently) so concerned with piracy of their product, when the main purpose of their product is to allow the piracy of software produced by other developers.

Well they did say the reason they had to push the release later, was to make clone counter measure. Anyway this doesnt afect you at all, you neither bought it or tried to crack it. I'm sorry if I don't understand your point, but are you saying that one day they're going to brick the console of the people who really bought it or that the brick code will magically activate on our switch for no reason. I don't think they would shit on their clientele like that and drag their name into the mud. And there's one thing you seem to get wrong, the main purpose of all this is to make money. Again, cant make money giving your softwate for freeor bricking console for no reason.

Look, i dont know (and nobody here does, just speculation) if they added brick code or not, but going to twitter and saying "My console got bricked, TX fucked me" is just a shitty thing to do. Add that the fake TX Discord account and all this smells fishy. Still, if this is true then yeah, really stupid stuff from TX.

Lets just wait and see, but the desire arround here (from some people) to see TX get fucked is just lame.

- The code can indeed trigger with normal usage, but the odds are so low that is very unlikely that anyone will be affected by this (unless you're messing with voltage or time sensitive stuff);

My point still stands though. kind of ironic a piracy device has a license and no public view of its code. It's not like we can verify outside of this, so this is the info we have to go on.

Xecuter isn't some random company, they've had a good reputation since the PS1...

They've already fucked people with burned fuses they'd been preserving and didn't warn them about going online, which makes me feel like they don't test their products very well.
