Hey everyone,

I haven't used SXOS cheat in a long time but I noticed that while I was playing a game and go to the SXOS menu, the cheat option is no longer available.
Now I recall I was able to get it to work and can access it in the past but now it's missing. I tried rebooting and replacing the boot.dat again but it's still the same.

I'm using SXOS 2.0.1 on 6.1.0.
I tried 2.3 Beta but I had to revert back to 2.0.1 because of the bug with Overcooked 2 going to the homebrew menu after starting the game.

Thanks in advance to those who can help!

CHEAT option in the main menu top right of the SX OS?

Already mirco SD Card Formatted (FAT32) and only the boot.dat ( new download to SX OS HP!!! ) copied
and what you still need ?

Hi,

Yes, the CHEAT option in the main menu on the top right of SXOS has disappeared.

My micro SD card has been formatted to FAT32 ever since and the boot.dat is located on the root of the micro SD card. The cheats are in SXOS\titles folder too.

It worked before and I could access the cheats for Dead Cells but now, the cheat menu has disappeared and I don't know when that problem started...

Huh? I'm sure I was using SXOS 2.0.1 when I was accessing the cheats before. I was sure that's the one I'm using because that was the available version when I just got my Switch and SXOS.

Have you test with SX OS v2.3.
Download the BOOT.DAT from the homepage! Try that.

Thank you for the suggestion, but as I mentioned earlier, when I tried SXOS v2.3 Beta, some games like Overcooked 2 will not run properly and goes to the homebrew menu instead which is why I went back to using v2.0.1. :(

Huh, I do not know if it's on the dongle.
Do you have a full image backup of the firmware?
Restore?
At first I would do an image backup.
What is in the BCD.ini file .. if any?

I have by BCD.ini:

CT0
[stage1]
stage2_path = fusee-secondary.bin
stage2_addr = 0xF0000000
stage2_entrypoint = 0xF0000000

No idea what that means.

Now I feel stupid. Good thing I still have the beta of 2.2.1 and tried that, rebooted my Switch and now the CHEAT option is there again. Thank you so much for the clarification!!!

I'm sorry, but what's the BCD.ini? I don't know what and where to find that. In any case, it was my fault booting up the wrong SXOS version after all. Sorry for the trouble!
