So I paid a guy to do my SX Lite install on my Switch lite, except he did not add the USB Debug cable. Luckily I still have the SX Chip packaging and thankfully it is still there. My question is, if I remove the Metal plate is there any chance of the Solder points getting messed up? I do not have the skills to re-solder so kinda scared of removing the metal plate.

The reason I want to add the USB Debug cable is to flash Spacecraft-NX and ditch SX OS for Atmosphere.

Thanks! I just finished flashing it with Spacecraft-NX and its doing its training session, im pretty nervous, I will update with more details once finished.
Sadly I don't find any guides for it. Since I guess you want to install Atmosphere afterwards?

I Followed the Github page for SpacecraftNX and it was pretty self-explanatory. After Flashing the chip with SpaceCraftNX I did this:

1. Copy Latest Atmosphere release zip to the Root Folder (atmosphere, sept, switch Folders)
2. Rename Fusee-Primary.bin to payload.bin and put it in Root Folder
3. Thats it.

I hope by making this thread I give others the confidence to migrate from SX OS to Atmosphere

Here is SciresM on Reddit confirming SpacecraftNX is reliable.

Surprisingly the hardest part of this process was physically opening up the Switch Lite and according to SciresM, in the future, this will not be necessary anymore which is great.

Yay! So SUCCESS?

EDIT: Btw did you change thermal paste? It's pretty shit on Switches.

Yeah Success, you know what, my switch Lite just froze, and now that you mention it, I should probably clean up and repaste it. The paste was rather flaky.

i modded my switch lite also with sx lite and flashed spacecraft nx,then added atmosphere, works fine except for the sleepmode, but that is a wellknown problem, need a rewrite of fusee.

yeah it's really terrible! I don't even know why they bother with it. One of those graphene pads are better than their "glue".

Hmm, is that what that is? I just noticed mine only the backlight turns on when waking from sleep, I'm having to force a reboot...

Go check the amtosphere git, there its explained by sciresm, hope sometime its getting fixed.

I believe I might have found a solution, I chainloaded Fusee-primary.bin via the Latest Hekate. This appears to have fixed the sleep issue for me.

1. On your SD rename your current payload.bin back Fusee-primary.bin
2. Download latest Hekate zip and copy to root.

3. rename hekate_ctcaer_5.5.6.bin to payload.bin

4. Move Fusee-Primary.bin to SD:\Bootloader\payloads\

When you boot Hekate, launch Fusee via the Payloads button.

oh that happened to me too.

delete the entire bootloader folder and start fresh

make sure the root payload.bin is hekate

and download Fusee Primary.bin from GitHub's release page and place it under Bootloader\payloads\

so,it autoboots also with hekate to atmosphere for you this way?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

think you must set it also in the ini,but that folder is empty, and i use no emunand.

I do not use emunand either. my switch autoboots to hekate, then I click on payloads > and then fusee-primary.bin

i uploaded some pictures

i do not have any custom ini files. My hekate files are straight copy from the latest github zip release.

yep,tryed it,worked fine,but once i'm in atmosphere,play some game,and guess what?,game errors out.
probably sigpatches not good.
i use with atmosphere alone exhumer sigpatches, everything working fine.
and indeed sleep mode working fine with hekate.

Just copied sigpatches from totaljustice, now its working fine, also sleepmode
But what i mean is in hekate you go to options-,there you can set autoboot to i believe atmosphere, and i think that gives an error, tryed that before, not 100% sure.

Thats great, im glad the sleep issue has a workaround for our switches.

I used the sigpatch package that iTotalJustice has on his github (not sure if linking is allowed so i will post a screenshot and you can google it)

With these sigpatches Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne worked
