Nintendo launched a surprise update today. Here's the changelog:

Improvements Included in Version 4.1.0 (Distributed 12/04/2017)
  • General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience, including:
    • Resolved an issue that caused motion controls to respond incorrectly when playing games that use the feature

Quite disappointed with this as I would have thought 4.1.0 would have brought features. To only improve on security I would have had it as 4.x.1....

Still disappointed with firmware updates. My surround sound quit working after the 4.0 update and hasn’t since worked. Was doing Switch to 3 Port HDMI Switch to TV optical from TV to a Vizio 4551 soundbar. Soundbar used to report AC3 5.1 but has since shown CDDA 2.0. If I didn’t hate how the HDMI ARC feature worked with this setup it’d be an easy fix. Now I just have to wait for Nintendo to fix it via firmware update.
