My fw version is 4.1.0. I bought my switch here in dubai so as far as I know switches here are EUR

I fixed that a while ago thanks to one of my friends in the dev channel. Anyways this should fix the version and the error code displayed for setGetLanguage(): https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/287345711492628490/446721786235584513/SwitchIdent.nro

Other things to note:
I'm unsure if the the GetRegion works like that, so it's most likely not accurate. Also, IP address won't work. While the language may it return an error code I was told it returns and empty string. I'll need more people from other regions to confirm if GetRegion is accurate.

Ok, so from now there will be builds after each commit has been pushed into master (assuming the build succeeds): https://github.com/joel16/SwitchIdent/tree/gh-pages

Do note each build gets replaced by the most recent one so you cannot go back to an older version unless you build it yourself.

Thank you for the link, very interesting read. Its a shame that JDI is no longer primary manufacturer.

A shame for sure, it seems non JDI screens have issues like backlight drop off, an easy way to tell which one you probably have is by checking the switch's backplate, if it says 2016 it has a good chance of being JDI, 2017 probably not.

@annson24 not sure what happened in your case but I had two testers so far, one from the US region and one from Germany and it got the regions accurate. Maybe the one you bought from Dubai might be from the US region? I'll need testers from other regions say JPN/AUS/KOR/CHN to confirm this.

Some updates if anyone can test. I still need to confirm region and now the DRAM ID.

• Displays bluetooth, NFC and wireless LAN status.
• Displays automatic application download and console information upload status.
• Displays SD total, free and used sizes.

No, at least not yet. The GUI version the will follow late might be able to. (However only some values would be eligible for changes)

Should work on 5.0.2 (I think). Also no idea how to disable it through the switch since I only just got mine and the option was set to off anyway. The GUI version might be able to change certain values in the future.

There's no proper release yet. I did kinda screw up with the builds, I'll see if I can get it sorted soon.
