I lack the exfat update. I believe both dns settings are set to switchbru, lemme check.

Parental controls are off, thanks saltbot!

--oh we found the cause already.

Damn... i was wondering, what if, for a brief second, you connect your console with default DNS? I mean, you auto download the update yeah, but you can remove it with the recovery mode. But what if there's an additional "super nag" that you cannot remove even through the recovery method?

lol "super nag"

This sounds like some kind of spouse whose super power is to nag people to do their bidding.

IS IT NINTENDO?
IS IT HANK'S WIFE?

WE DON'T KNOW, IT MIGHT BE BOTH!

Also SUPER NAG IS HERE TO SAVE THE DAY!

There is a additional "super update nag", as users from different FW are having the issue, even after clearing it. The thing is we thought this was just for newer devices, but now it seems thats not the case.

I am essentially using factory-shipped 4.1.0, without any updates, and suspected this was the case. I wonder if atmosphere (or other cfw) will be able to provide a work around for such problems given that it is essentially wrapped around Horizon.

It will! The team is aware of the issue

will atmosphere implement a proper browser that does away with the whitelist?
