Hacking Question Switch won't boot after restoring from NAND backup

I was on 5.1.0 made a backup, updated to 7.0.1 by accident. restored the NAND to my 5.1.0 backup and now my switch won't boot into anything and I cant get it into RCM mode, any suggestions?

1. Why do you guys keep donwgrading when there is a CFW for 7.0.0/1?
2. You can boot to RCM.
3. You have to boot through RCM and custom bootloader in order to ever boot again, because you have more burned fuses than your current FW requires. So you'd have to update again to be able to boot without RCM.

since OP couldn't boot to anything and I assume that includes CFW which ignore fuse count, could it be this is because he restored nand but not boot0/1?

sorry to open this thread but my curiosity just came up after reading your comentary. So what happens if i restore just nand and not boot00/01 and my console couldn't boot to anything, is there any solution?

there are solutions but don't remember the specifics
however there's some recent progress such as this that you might find interesting
