Hacking switch with softmo

1.does switch can softmod on every model yet?
2. what topic that i can follow for softmod. i read the topic above before post. but i dont see any tutorial
kinda newbies about switch . really thank
3. what model should i buy to support softmod

really thank. so it mean i can not buy first hand switch because i never know firmware of it . and new switch must has formware newer than 4. right?

2 and 3 is when we speak about brand new consoles right and about iPatched units right?
If he buy a used unpatched unit on fw 5-9 he should be able to softmod it or i mixed something up?

No even iPatched units with firmware 4.1.0. As long as the firmware is 4.1.0 you can use Pegascape.

As long as the firmware is 4.1 and lower you can do caffeine which is the only you can do on ipacthed units if firmware applicable.
On Non ipatched units you can do any firmware with atmosphere, I did mine on firmware 8.
