Hey guys, ran into a major issue here

I was on 6.2.0 firmware prior to all of this. So I downloaded ChoiDujourNX and ripped the update folder from one of my backups, as it was telling me I needed to update the game's software in order to play, and I'm banned so I can't update using wifi.

I extracted the update folder and installed the .nca's via ChoiDujourNX. After that it asked me to reboot my console; I send the atmosphere payload and it seemingly boots up fine, but after it shows the Nintendo logo it just hangs forever on a black screen.

I checked Briccmii and it says I have 8 burnt fuses.

I then tried to boot into Hekate with and without my SD card, and booting into stock gives me a system crash error and in the error message it says I'm on firmware 2.1.0???

So somehow I've managed to downgrade my firmware to 2.1.0 from 6.2.0. I do not have a nand/boot backup from when I updated to 6.2.0, but I have a backup from when I initially modded my switch (can't remember which firmware it was at).

Is there any chance to save my switch?

it's like you wanted to mess it up. Why did you update to 6.2 to begin with? why didn't you make a nand backup after you updated? Try using your original nand backup is my guess.

My girlfriend updated by mistake. I didn't make another backup for her switch on 6.2.0 as I thought my initial back up I made was all that was needed.

Anyone that knows what I can do?

Backup now, making sure you don't overwrite any other backups.

You should be able to restore the backup you have, then switch to amosphere 0.80 and upgrade to 6.2 using choidujournx and you'll be fine.

Ok thanks a lot I appreciate it, I will try that. Just out of curiosity, doing a backup now will create a backup of assumingly 2.1.0, and not 6.2.0? Will that be beneficial down the road at all considering I have a back up of a higher fw already on my PC?

It depends. If the backup you think you have is completely fucked and you restore it onto your switch, then you're doubly fucked.

If everything goes to plan then you won't need it, but it's not gone to plan so far......

Sounds like you're now looking for a reason to delete the backup, maybe hold onto it in case you do the same thing again?

Not sure where you got that from, but I save all my backups thanks

Sounds good, thanks again I appreciate it. Will give that restore a go after backing up, hopefully it works!
