Gaming Switch User Menu Hint At Virtual Console?

Some of you may know about that weird user menu that pops up on some games instead of the usual user selection menu. Upon opening the game, the menu pops up, showing the different users as it should, but it looks a lot different. The users’ profile pics and names are at the bottom, and on top of each set is a screen showing the last open screen for each user. Yeah, not a big deal. But actually, it kind of is. What could this really mean? Well, there is one possibility, a very big possibility: Virtual Console. The screens shown for various users may be the last save point for a VC game. This menu seems to be a very big indication that we will get some sort of Virtual Console at some point in the near future, as Nintendo has it in the latest update, which was released back in December, unless this was a complete mistake, which may be the case. What do you guys think, does this simple menu show Nintendo has plans for VC on the Switch, or am I just stupid?

I've never seen that screen, but I think you're reading too much into things. How is that at all hinting towards VC?

It shows the last save point of each user. What kind of game usually shows you save/load points? I’m not saying it definitely means VC, I just thought it was interesting that it showed the last point of each user, since it doesn’t in other games. It just kinda seemed like it, you know?

But you said it just shows the last screen they were at. That doesn't really say much, and Scribblenauts has nothing to do with VC anyway. I suspect it's just a feature that Nintendo have in their SDK that it's up to developers to enable if they wish.
But obviously VC is coming, they've already said it's launching alongside the paid online.
