Hacking Switch Update 5.0.0 Released

Me too man
That's why I self host with fiddler. I already have both a windows and a Linux server running 24/7, so it's not hard to keep fiddler running. Both servers run off laptops tucked under my desk so the power usage isn't too much and they are out of the way.
I also have TeamViewer set up on them.
Oh I'm also setting up a pi with the Java update blocker for trips

A man who likes to prepare for the worst I see xD

I tried the one from the first post, 205.166.076.187, but it didn't work for me, failed to connect to the dns server. The other one from the reswitched faq works, but doesn't allow eshop. Which one is your Switch using?
Not anything, currently, my uni has a fixed DNS that we need to use

Trying to buy a new game? Have you tried the autodownload feature? Ie buy it on the store and let it download?
Well about that, in my contry that service is unavailable.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I think you are talking about buying it in the eshop from the website and let the Switch downloads the game, no? No can do. I´m talking about a DNS with eshop access and blocked updates but seems that there isn´t.

I use fiddler proxy to block updates and currently have access to online and eshop on 4.1.0

...currently just blocking
sun.hac.lp1.d4c.nintendo.net
and
beach.hac.lp1.eshop.nintendo.net

Can't connect to the eshop, error code 2137-8007 (Unable to communicate with the server)
I also block receive-lp1.dg.srv.nintendo.net and receive-lp1.er.srv.nintendo.net
Not sure if those make a difference.

Even though I work IT there, I don't have the power to add to the campus filter list, and I don't want to piss off Switch owners that want to update their consoles lol

Ugh, that's a load of bullocks, what're you gonna do then? Too bad you can't just buy a separate router and then bypass all that.
