My switch seems to be stuck in an odd state. I noticed a while ago that it was not waking from sleep with the power button which I later learned was an issue with an older version of sys_clk and status monitor. But I did not get to fix this issue as it was still waking okay with the home button.
However last week it seems to have got stuck on a fussee error and since the power button does not reboot it, it's stuck there. I have tried holding down the power button for over a minute and it still won't force a hard power off. I can get the screen to wake by connecting it directly to my phone with a USB C > USB C (no OTG adapter) but it will not wake with power button or home button. The screen wakes when I do this and shows the following error:
"A fatal error occurred when running Fusee.
Incorrect fusee version! (program=0x4aa02b53, mtc=0xef4f0949)
Press POWER to reboot."
Pressing power turns the screen off but does not seem to reboot it probably due to the sys_clk issue mentioned above.
I have updated sys_clk, status monitor, atmosphere and fusee.bin on my sd card so they should all be up to date now. This makes me believe that it is not rebooting when I press the power button and is just turning off the screen.
Is the only option left here to just run out the battery, recharge it and boot to hekate again?
It's already been sitting for most of a week and the battery is still not dead.
I had toyed with the idea of taking it apart and disconnecting/reconnecting the battery to force a reboot but that seems extreme.
Anyone else seen this happen before? Any advice? Just leave it to run flat?
Any input would be appreciated. Many thanks.
Got it resolved eventually. I started changing files on the SD card and was getting differ errors on reboot, so it was rebooting. So I just updated the fussee.bin on my phone and it eventually did get booted into atmosphere.
