Switch stuck at black screen

so, I tried updating my console and for some reason (I was high) I decided to erase atmosphere without turning the console off (I know, stupid of me) So I plugged it in the computer and proceded to erase the atmosphere folders and the switch rebooted itself, then I tried to enter the homebrew menu to connect the console to the pc again and I got some error and the console turned off and has stayed with a black screen ever since.

I updated atmosphere directly in the sd card and tried rebooting the switch as well as a hard reset and nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions on what I might do to fix this?

First thing is to check if you can get into the RCM mode.
I would try to inject lockpick_rcm because that should be able to start up in RCM mode without an SD card.
If that works, then I would continue with a clean install of Hekate on the SD card.
Note that Hekate and Atmosphere expect the version of the payload and the files on the SD card to match.
If you download the latest release then it also contains the right payload.

If you have a SXOS modchip from Team Xcuter then installing the latest firmware might give all kinds of problems.

If the firmware update messed up the boot roms then I there is a bunch of topics on this forum on how to fix that.
