Hacking switch rcm mode

so, i have been putting my switch in rcm, done it a few times, just tried again and this time it wont let me into rcm mode, i tried multiple attempts but it just keeps booting into regular switch os. tried to check the jig, from what i can tell its fine. problem just occurred suddenly. any thoughts on why this may be happening? or how to fix it?

Check your pins. Maybe you just simply damaged them.

how do i check them? my joy con seems to work and connect just fine

ok, i just managed to get it to boot into rcm, how do i get auto rcm to prevent it from happening?

Hold the + button while you send the payload

Your switch should boot into the SX OS main menu

Click on options and you should find "install auto rcm"

actually just boots right into sx os, seen that menu 1 time thats it

misread that, will try next time. thank you
