I got a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for free, because it started acting strangely.
On this controller, the orange LED next to the pairing button no longer lights up when you press/hold it or when you plug it in to a charger/Switch. Wireless pairing does not work. The controller works as intended, when connected via USB-C cable. USB Tester shows, that the lines seem to be okay. (They show the same two lines not active as on my second Pro Controller.)
I already replaced the battery because the old one was discharged, but the controller still doesn’t charge the new battery. The controller was able to update its Firmware from the Nintendo servers with the new battery inside.
Can anyone tell me where to find information on how to fix this? Strangely, there is almost no information online about repairing Switch Pro Controllers or about spare parts for them. All the stuff I could find only explains how to install new sticks.
Thanks!
