Hacking Question switch on 3.0.1

I have a switch on 3.0.1, never been online ever, not sure how to proceed. I would like to have exfat capabilities, play backups and if possible use fortnite online in ofw. Also would like to avoid a ban an do system backup is nand backup, and if possible keep my machine downgradable. Any tutorial like switch guide dot com or a video. PS I'm a noob.

There is no way right now to use homebrew and keep your system "unbannable". People are getting banned for even using payloads to back up nand.

Since we dont know exactly what causes bans yet you're best to leave your system untouched and buy a second switch for going online

So basically if one wanted to play back ups its sxos or layered fs (too complex for my liking) and no more online forever, and just auto RCM to save the pins? And just update to 5.1 for exfat? I hear dev menu can install some games is this hard to use?

I dont use auto RCM and I dont use dev menu so I cant answer with respect to those questions. I use a 3d printed jig and I have no issues whatsoever. I bought sx os and love it. Haven't been banned yet but I dont care if I am. I'm fully updated to latest firmware.
