Hello, my modded OLED Switch it's been modded with a PCB adapter permanent fixed and everything was working fine for 2 months when It suddently stopped working with a black screen and no Power icon when charging, I did open It up and checked values, all are quite ok but the 3.3v which Is very low (0.040), I did try also to connect the chip to the PC and for a debug It says (Power rails issues), my question Is.. what I'm supposed to do?
The led pattern for the chip Is 2xpurple blink and steady White.
I'll attach the video of the chip leds.
Please any help Is appreciated, thanks everyone.

Update: I managed to reflow the Emmc and now It shows a good value on 3.3v capacitors, the problem Is It still has the same error.. also I checked values with battery connected and the 3.3v capacitors has low value, but when battery Is not connected It shows a good value

it's obvious that the problem was in the data0 and its rework. at this point do a complete and clean reball, maybe switch to a kamikaze after having put the emmc in place

Hello, I don't think Is the dat0, the value for It was perfect before and even After the reflow, also the console doesn't even boot on ofw

think about it, the only thing where you can't look directly since you've only done reflows is the emmc since the other stitches worked are clear. do 2 +2 and find where the problem is. perhaps residues of flux, dirt, or anything else that has altered and is altering the state of the emmc. It's not the first time that with permanent data via reflow on adapters they give these problems especially after months

Which pcb adapter? you mean the one comes with hwfly v5.x chips that sandwiches between emmc and motherboard?

If so i think you need to desolder it and do a complete reball. Btw use leaded solder paste, and clean the board up and remove all unattached solder balls, otherwise it may cause a short

I don't think he used that type of adapter, it takes skill to install it correctly. I think at most he did a simple reflow directly on the OAT0 mobile adapter. Let's wait for what he says

Yes, similar to this one, but the new version from abel1000x, what's weird is After reflowing the short Is gone but It still gives Power rails issue, I Guess I'll try a full reinstall

well I think you need to focus your efforts in the emmc area

I'm pretty sure some solder ball cracked the First time since the emmc wasn't recognized from TegraRCM, and It was showing like It was in recovery mode (this happens on the OLED when the emmc isn't properly recognized), After the reflow the Emmc Is recognized (no more recovery mode, or shorts) but still somehow It has the same error, even checked the other Chips in the board, like the IP3usb or the max77, BQ etc.. but no shorts, really this has no sense, I'll Just try reinstall the adapter and everything in the next days, hopefully It works

I used this adapter several times before. Like I said you need to clean the adapter after reballing it and remove all unattached balls, otherwise they'll move when heated and cause shorts.

I don't think solder will crack on emmc, emmc barely heats up during use. Maybe if you used unleaded solder it will have some cold solder joints since unleaded solder melts at a higher temperature

consider eliminating the adapter and switching to a kamikaze, if made well it has the same reliability as the classic/lite ones

I used solder balls, to reball It the First time, these one, I think It melts at 183 degree Celsius, which One you use?

Update: I reballed and reinstalled both the adapter and the emmc, still same error, I Just give up, thanks everybody Who tried to help.

do a reballing without an adapter, the important thing is that it works and that it starts. then you think about how to get the data0

I use sn63/pb37 solder paste, basically the same thing as yours.

Also post a full diagnostic boot log from instinct nx, the led can be misleading sometimes.
