I saw similar posts but with different post code issues. Here's a summary:
  • Device: Nintendo Switch OLED with RP2040 HWFLY V4 installed.
  • Usage: Worked for 2 years.
  • Firmware Update: Updated Atmosphere to version 19 and Hekate to 6.2.2 two months ago.
  • Issue: A few days ago, after a reboot, the system started booting only into OFW. No physical damage (no drop or water exposure).
  • Symptoms:
    • Pressing VOLUME UP + POWER has no effect; the system still boots into OFW.
    • During startup, a blue flash occurs.
    • D0 behavior:
      • Initially at 3.3V, then drops to 0.
      • Long green light, short green flash; D0 returns to 3.3V.
      • Long green light, short green flash; D0 voltage rises above 3.3V (possibly due to a capacitor issue).
      • Long green light, short green flash; D0 finally drops to 0.

Blue flash just means it's glitching, does it flash yellow light after the blue light? If so what pattern?

Considering it's 2 years old you might want to try and update the piclfly firmware first:

Also are you using a DAT0 adapter? Is it reflowed? Check it's diode reading with a multimeter, not voltage.

No, there is no yellow light. Even when it works, it only shows blue and green lights.
I have ordered a cable connector and will try it.
I checked the resistance, and it looks fine.

No, there is no yellow light. Even when it works, it only shows blue and green lights.

Picofly error messages are shown in short/low blinking patterns.
The color doesn't matter.
Only HWFly modchips use color codes.

As I described in the main post, after the blue flash, it shows a long green light followed by a short green flash three times.

same problem as you have...seems that battery drain to 0% helps to restart something.
But probably i need to do new DAT0 adapter or Kamikaze.
I drained the battery to 0%, but after charging it, the system still boots into OFW. Can you share more details on how you start it?

Last edited by arhitector,
Those 2 scenarios were working for me:

1. as it was on 0% and wanted to start it , it suddenly show IPX / Atmosphere logo screen.
Basically it seems that battery need to be flat and then some magic chip reset happened :)

2. When it was flat flat that it didnt even show the logo, I connected the charger to charge just little not even 1% and then when I wanted to start it went to emuMMC, then I let it full charge and NO reboot
----
Today wanted to test it , so gave it to kids to play / drain the battery...
I had OFW on 18.0.1...kids played Mario, so they used Cartridge, probably it asked them to update (even autoupdate was OFF, but i had wifi connected to drain faster :( ), they did most probably YES, AGREE to ALL and now it's on 19.0.1 :hateit:

I'm on 0% battery and it just loads Nintendo OFW only or goes rightaway OFF (after showing 0% battery icon).

So Kamikaze or New DAT0 adapter will be the way...to be 100% usable again
