Hi,

I've been working on a broken Switch Lite and it seems to be having a fault I haven't seen before. The switch doesn't display anything on the screen and doesn't produce sound out of the on-board speakers.

The backlight works, the switch boots fine with all the correct voltages and if I plug headphones in I can hear the touch working and the system booting up fine. I just can't see anything on the screen or hear sound from the on-board speakers.

I know the LCD is good and I know the on-board speakers are good. I can't see any problems with the LCD connector on the main board.

Anyone come across this type of issue before and do you think it's one problem or possibly 2 issues causing the faults? Has anyone mapped the voltages on the LCD connector for the Switch Lite?

Shine a flashlight into the screen and see if you can see anything. It could be the backlight ribbon cable and not the LCD ribbon cable that's the problem.
