first it's not gpu. it's tegra x1 SoC (cpu, gpu, etc all in one).
anyways it's better if you solder mosfets directly to the cpu capacitors, but if you see original post by rehius some distance would be fine.
but you would still need to soler to those capacitors so no difference in that you have to be careful.
and for the schematics D=drain S=source G=gate. and you have to solder to any one of those points
That's incorrect . The APU (cpu/gpu) is the Nvidia Maxwell . The Tegra X1 SOC encompasses all hardware components necessary to run the system (e.g emmc, sram, etc)

why the mosfet 2 ?? is it like the original flex cable?
No that wiring schematic is not correct . Source to RP2040, gate to capicitors (farthest capicitor is connected on side of cap closest to mosfet and the closest is opposite) drain is not necessary .
