Yellow8 has uploaded a new version of the Switch homebrew launcher today, which offers some changes to the GUI and other bugfixes. You can check it out by clicking the Github link below, and extracting the contents of the zip there to the root of your SD card.

  • Major GUI update.
  • The used theme is now selected via the current system theme.
  • Files/directories starting with name '.' are now ignored.
  • Args are now handled properly.
  • If {dirname}/{dirname}.nro is not found, the NRO found via dir-listing will be used instead, if there's only 1 NRO in the directory. This only applies for paths located under "sdmc:/switch/".

If you want CFW first, then stay on v1.0.
If you want to wait longer for CFW, but want homebrew first, do a cart update for 2.0.0.
Which cart will update to 2.0

@Randy95354, to clarify, the "v2.0.0" mentioned here is the version of the Homebrew Launcher itself. Not saying that it is for system firmware v2.0.0.

I see there’s already good progress in snes and gba emulators , can’t wait for n64 on the go
what progress? there's retroarch only and it's annoying to set up and get working. you gotta compile shit and all this other crap it's no where as simple as on the wii/u

Yeah, but eventually it will get more simple. He's just saying that the emulators are progressively getting better. Retroarch isn't bad either.

That fact it’s running At all without crashing and running a game is what makes it progress since it’s one of the first homebrew for the Switch , it will get better...
