If you want you can do a NAND backup of the boot0/boot1 and the rawnand as a disaster recovery if you somehow mess up the NAND in the future, I occasionally do NAND backup as for disaster recovery purpose.

Ok, thank you so much for your help! I am nervous about all of this and proceeding. I just don't want to brick my Switch...

Do you guys think it is safe for me to proceed with all of this? Also, how did I get Kosmos and what was that?

Hi guys. Do you guys think it is safe for me to proceed with updating System FW using Daybreak, going from Kosmos to Atmosphere, and getting/updating sigpatches? I read on another thread that updating System FW through unofficial means is risky. Is that true? If yes, how risky is it? Also, I don't remember how I got Kosmos, and am not sure what it is. Is it CFW like Atmosphere. Have a few questions before proceeding:

- How do I know if I do have Kosmos installed?
- Should I delete Kosmos before going to Atmosphere? If yes, do I uninstall Kosmos through an Homebrew App? How do I delete Kosmos?

I am still very noob to all of this. Any help appreciated
