Hardware Switch Error 2107-0427?

I was playing BotW this morning and was about an hour into the Trial of the Sword, and all of a sudden my Switch crashes with the error code 2107-0427. No idea what triggered it. Anyone else have something similar happen?

Huh, if I remember correctly I was also about to sneakstrike... Maybe there's a correlation there? Could be coincidence tho

There is (as of now) no Support Help for the Error code, nor does the provided question link have any replies.

I am thinking that the Firmware is highly unstable, most likely this issue will be fixed with another System Update or Game Update.

hopefully it's nothing serious - my switch rebooted properly after pressing the power button once, now able to play BotW again. there are a couple other cases in google but none have definitive answers.

Yeah, same here... Didn't have to hold down the button or anything, as ir promptly rebooted. Although if it's a recent error I'd guess it's firmware related.

It's a cheap screen protector and the dock scratched it up a bit. Gonna replace it with a tempered glass one, don't you worry

Plus I have dogs and their hair likes to stick to the screen and joysticks.

Wii U version slapped me a System Error message. There's something with DLC itself, possibly bad rendering.

Same issue here on my son's Switch. He was playing BotW. He was in Tarry Town listening/ talking to a girl through a window he says when the screen went black. It restarted without any issues, but still curious what's going on as well.

We have 5 Switches in our house and his is the only one that's done this. All 5 are used for BotW and all 5 have the DLC.
