Switch Dock => Wall HDMI Socket => TV => Black Screen

Guys,

following Problem - when i connect my Dock/Switch to my TV directly via HDMI => working perfectly fine.
When I connect my Dock/Switch to my Wallplug linking to the same TV but - well - behind a wall the screen stays black?

When i normally connect my Laptop/PC trough that wallplug its working perfectly fine, only the Switch/Dock seems do have a Problem with that extension?

Anyone ever experienced that?

Sound like problem is probably with the wall hdmi socket

I get your Point, but why would my PC and my Laptop (both tested today) work fine with that wall hdmi socket?

could be a broken wire problem, the laptop uses a different protocol than switch, switch is limited to lower resolutions. and could be voltages differences, and the length added by the wall plug may drop signals.

would add a signal booster to it just to check, i have a 10Meter non active and everything else i run of it is fine, but if i use my projector on it it doesnt, yet if i use a smaller 3-5m cable with boosters on each end it works perfectly
could be a whole range of things
