So this just appeared on a certain torrent site. Fake?

if its a real dump then this is great news but i think it might be a fake. We will have to see only time will tell

Welp that puts a check mark next to "Being able to dump a rom" next up, "Developing a PoC PCB to upload roms to and run them"
 
Wait for the MEGA link, get it from there, try to check the dump data and see if it's somehow legit. Best would be another dump to compare with.

I feel like it's fake and the format .nxg simply was the taking the codename NX and adding a G at the end to symbolize "game" in this scenario.

The chip of Zelda should be 16 GB big. So even unzipped/uncompressed, the dump shouldn't be bigger than this. Sounds strange already.
 
So were they able to actually dump the raw game?
