I've started getting a "failed to load cached data" error at random times when accessing the eshop. I read a little online, and it seems to be affecting a lot of people. I don't know if the newest update is responsible, but has anyone else here at this error or knows of a way to fix it? I saw the delete cache option, but someone on another message board said that he still got the error afterwards. I read a second post stating that nintendo was aware of the problem and was trying to fix it. I don't know where he read that. he said it was on noa website, but where exactly? resetting cache mentions deleting save ids and passwords, so I don't really know what all it deletes or "resets."

I have same issue on two of my switches... another day was talking with nintendo support and they kind of told me it's ok to have that issue =)

I tried resetting the cache, and the first time I opened up the eshop, I got the error again. I called nintendo, and that's what they told me to do, but it didn't work. I read on another forum that it's a software problem, and nintendo is aware of it. maybe it will be fixed when they release another update.

It started with me at version 7 and i had this conversation with them since then... Still no fix...

are your two switches stock? mine is. I can't remember when this issue started. are you supposed to return to the last page viewed on the eshop, 'cause mine always goes to the home page? I also don't play online, so I don't know what all is in the cache. it says things like bootmarks, but I don't use the switch for internet-related things.

edit: btw, it seems more stable now that I've reset cache and powered off, then on the system again.

I got an error once after that message, but I forgot to write it down. eshop worked fine reloading it again.
